OUR TEAM

Professor Bruno Barsic, MD, PhD

Bruno is teaching professor at the Medical School of the University of Zagreb and the Head of Intensive Care Unit on University Hospital for Infectious diseases.

His passion next to his patients and students are clinical research and biostatistics. His work is largely published within numerous representative medical journals and he was awarded national scientist of the year 2009 for his committed scientific work.

His free time is dedicated to the music and travelling.

Jacinta Vukovic, MD, MBA

Jacinta combines/ integrates the medical component with the marketing and the international business parts.

After she finished the medical school in Germany, she worked in the area of clinical trials and later joined the pharmaceutical industry. There she has spent her entire career in the area of Medical Affairs and Marketing. For years, in the function of senior executive, she was leading the Global Medical marketing department responsible for developing and executing medical marketing strategies and tactics for numerous therapeutic areas, including post marketing clinical studies. She was initiating, developing and leading numerous corporate projects.

She holds the MBA from the Rotterdam School of Business.

Jacinta spends her free time baking amazing cakes and making other delicious and innovative meals. In the early morning, she enjoys running with her dogs.

Antonia Sisko, MDiE

Antonia’s main areas of work are marketing, clinical project management,and finances. She holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Zagreb. Antonia also spent one semester studying Economic and Business Sciences at The University of Castilla–La Mancha, Spain. During her studies, she gained valuable experience working in different areas of business, volunteering in a student non-profit organization and participating in various business competitions.

When she is not working, Antonia spends her time cycling and behind the sewing machine. On the weekends you will probably find her outside the city, traveling and exploring new places.

Jelena Cipek

As one of the youngest, Jelena brings fresh energy into the team and in the business. Although she studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Jelena manages to work as an intern in Synovia and helps the team in the medical area of business, as well as the economic part. After she finishes her studies, she would like to be Medical Oncologists.

In her spare time, she chooses outdoor activities and would rather choose skiing than the seaside. Even though she is an outdoor type, her second love is interior design.
